12 May Eleven. One visitor, brought by Achebe. Set down as a first

attendance: date, place, and who brought her, and nothing

else. Entered without annotation. Nothing follows from it,

and she was told so.

19 May Twelve. J. Reddick still away. The room was left open.

(A House would write that the place is kept. Carlisle has

always written it the other way and the wording is kept.)

Book to be carried to the receiving House and brought into agreement

at the next reconciliation.
