Write to the Institute
Two routes are open.
There is no general form and no general address. What may be asked from this website is asked on one of two pages: a note about attendance at an Open Table, or a request for an introductory conversation about the Fellowship. Each writes an entry in the register of enquiries and sends an acknowledgement carrying its reference.
The passage of an enquiry
- 01You choose the route that fits what you are asking: the note about attendance on the Gatherings page, or the request for a conversation on the Fellowship page. There is no general form, and general enquiries sent by other means are not presently received.
- 02What you write — your name, your email address, the house if you name one, and the body of the note — is written to the register of enquiries and held there under a reference.
- 03An acknowledgement carrying that reference is sent by email to the address you gave, at once. It confirms that the note was entered and nothing more.
- 04The entry stands in the register and is available to those who read it. Nothing else is sent automatically.
- 05If a reply is written, it is written by a person to the email address you gave. No reply is promised, and no time is set for one.
The house calendar says which houses hold an Open Table and when, so far as each house has settled it.
