A circle that meets in another language has made its own Reader, asks whether the translations must be approved, and is told that nobody approves them.

To the Stewardship
We have made our own Reader, because reading English at our table is
a performance and we are tired of it. Nine of the readings we have
translated ourselves. Two we could not translate to our satisfaction
and have replaced with things of our own.
The question is whether these must be sent to anybody for approval.
[Reply, 24 June 2019:] They must not, because there is nobody to
approve them. Keep a copy where the circle can find it. If two of your
readings are your own then your Reader has two readings that exist
nowhere else, which is a better outcome than a faithful translation.
