Letter, Returning Member to a Convener

Dear Shazia,

I am coming back on Tuesday. I do not want anything made of it.

The practical question is the discharge meals. I had the Tuesday run from 2016 and I know from the December letter that Iqbal has had it since 2019. I am not asking for it back if it is working, and by the sound of the figures it is working better than it did when I had it.

What I would like, if it is going, is the Friday driving, or the washing up, or whatever is short. I am fifty-eight and my knees are worse than they were, so nothing with stairs if there is a choice, but there is generally a choice.

One more thing and then I will stop. I would be grateful if nobody asks me where I have been. I know that is the rule and I know I do not have to ask for it. I am asking anyway, because I would rather have said it than spend the evening waiting to find out.

See you Tuesday. I will come at six and set out the chairs.
