NOTICE — BRIAR HOUSE — WEEK OF 6 MARCH 2017

The following arrangements hold until further notice.

PORCH AND STEP REPAIR. C. Meade has a shoulder and is not lifting until

the summer. He keeps the list, the estimates and the correspondence.

D. Pruitt and two others carry the lifting. This is not a handover and

the duty is not reassigned.

GARDEN, SOUTH BEDS. E. Larkin is caring for her father in Roanoke and

is away most weeks. She has asked for the weather entry instead, which

she can do on the evenings she is here. Granted. The south beds are

carried by the Thursday kitchen until she says otherwise.

MINUTES. Taken by whoever is nearest the door, in rotation, as usual.

TRANSPORT. Unchanged.

No reason is entered against any of the above beyond what is written

here, and members are asked not to enquire further of the persons

named. If you want to be useful, put your name on the lifting list.

— W. Dabney, Steward

Retained as an example of ordinary adaptation. The arrangements described ended in July 2017.
