NOTICE — NORTH HOUSE — ARCHIVE

G. Sørhaug relinquishes the correspondence series (COR, all years) on

30 November after nineteen years. The section passes to L. Abernethy.

Until 13 January the series is closed to additions. Items for filing

are held in the box on the cold-room table and are entered in the order

received when the section reopens. Nothing is refused and nothing is

returned.

The outgoing and incoming holders sit together on the six Saturdays

before the date above. This is not a courtesy; a shelf that has been

kept by one person for nineteen years is only half in the catalogue and

the other half is in her head.

The sequence of holders since 1977 is written on the card at the end of

the run. It now has six names on it.

— M. Evensen, Steward

The section reopened on 13 January 2025. Eleven items were held during the closure and all eleven were entered.
