MINUTE OF THE STEWARDSHIP MIN/1984/05
3. THE READER. The committee reported nineteen readings ready. Five
texts carried since 1977 are not continued. Ten are added.
4. Resolved: that attribution be printed at the foot of each reading
and given aloud after it. Carried, with one against, who held that
a reader should know whose words are in her mouth before she says
them. The objection is recorded because it is a good one.
5. Resolved: that 600 copies be printed at Bangor. The green cloth is
chosen because it is the cheapest the printer holds and there is no
other reason for it. Members asking about the colour are to be told
this.
6. Resolved: that the 1977 sheets not be called in.
