Present: nine. Taken before the first reading; closed after the notices.

1. Roof, north side. Quoted twice. Cheaper quote accepted.

2. The wording of the visitor card. A member asked that plainer words

be used. Discussed for some time. The wording is kept, and the

member's request is entered beside this minute so that the two are

read together.

3. Whether a circle may enter a first attendance on its own authority.

Fell holds that it may not. Shore is understood to hold otherwise.

One House does not answer for another. The matter remains referred

and is carried to the next reconciliation.

4. The February question of the two founding dates. Left standing.

5. Asked why the Thursday is Thursday. The House has no present answer.
