Notice: closed observance, 14th
The house is closed to visitors and to unaffiliated members on the evening of the 14th.

Posted at the shop door and in the winter kitchen.
The observance on the 14th is closed. Visitors expected that evening have been written to and offered the following Thursday, which is open in the usual way.
Members of this circle should attend. Members of other circles may attend with the agreement of their own steward and should not travel without it.
No reason is given for a closed observance and none should be asked for at the door. The reason for this practice is that a reason given at the door becomes a reason given to everyone.
The kitchen is not affected. The meal is at the ordinary hour.
