Notice: continuity review of this circle

This circle is under continuity review. The review concerns the circle and not any member of it. Nobody's standing is affected and nobody is required to do anything.

A review consists of the following: the house accounts are read; the rota and attendance are read; two members are asked to speak to the reviewing stewards, and are chosen by lot, not by me; the reviewing stewards write a note; the note enters the Record.

The member concerned may read any note that describes them. This has been true since 1993 and is not widely known, which I regard as a failure of ours rather than of theirs.

Three members have asked me privately whether a review can result in a person being described as no longer continuous. It can. It has not done so at this house and would not be done without the member being told first, by me, in person, before it is written anywhere.
