Local history

Provisional 1998, recognised 1999. Meetings are held in Italian; the reading is given in Italian and, twice a year, in Slovene.

The outward obligation

Companionship and hospice

Seafarers' visiting, held with a port welfare service.

Visiting crews held in port, carrying letters and telephone cards, and sitting with the hospitalised where no relative can reach them.

The forms it carries

  • The Quiet Twelve

Twelve minutes are kept before the reading. Nothing is assigned to the silence.

  • The Weather Entry

Before the first shared meal of the month, one person writes the weather in the house book.
